It is always rewarding and wonderful to attend the ERA convention in Las Vegas. THOR Associates had an especially great show this year, pitching new business and visiting with strategic partners on current initiatives. We have been chosen to contribute to the industries’ most successful individuals and companies by creating comprehensive and customized action plans based on specific needs and goals. We literally partner with clients as an executive team member which impacts their bottom line and this year’s ERA success proved nothing less than stellar.
Just as exciting was Fern moderating the “Stick Rate/Continuity” education session (picture attached) to an overflowing audience interested in hearing from an incredible panel. Special thanks to the following panelists: Alex Agurcia, Omni Direct Inc.; Elliot Segal, Guthy-Renker; Andy Seigel, Atlantic Coast Media Group; Michaella Harkey, Order Motion. The session was about delivering actionable continuity is the most effective way to achieve ROI with buying behavior. The panelists were brilliant explaining best practices to implement benchmarks, upsells, cross-sells and lifetime value in order to create the link to stickiness for continuity. Real-world examplesl were offered to what creates continuity stick rate and what efforts have failed. Takeaways included the use of technology for tracking metrics, media ideology and defining the turn and churn, as well as capturing industry expert advice on how to drive ROI based on increase lifetime value.
Also at ERA 2011, Fern was chosen by ERA to be interviewed by Craig Burnett for ERAtv.
This year, Fern had a special moment with Julie Coons, CEO of the Electronic Retail Association, where they discussed the great job ERA has done as industry leaders (see attached pictures).
Quite as touching was the Lifetime Achievement Award given to Katie Williams. Katie is a legend, a mentor, a friend and a genius. Congratulations, Katie. I’m thrilled that you have been recognized by our peers and I’m just as happy to be included in this clip:
Success breed success and 2011 proved it for THOR Associates and the Electronic Retailers.
